Privacy Policy

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

Registration is not required. Locations, indoor temperature and humidity readings, HomeKit information, preferences, Lüften history, and notification text are stored on your device. The Application does not transmit HomeKit readings or the names of your homes, rooms, or accessories to the Service Provider, Firebase, or RevenueCat.

The Application uses the following services:

• Firebase Crashlytics processes limited crash and diagnostic information about the Application and your device to diagnose and fix problems. Crash report data is retained by Firebase for 90 days. Google Analytics is not used. See Firebase Privacy and Security.
• Firebase App Check uses Google and Apple services to verify that requests come from an authentic copy of the Application. Limited information about the Application and device is processed for this security purpose.
• RevenueCat processes an anonymous Application identifier, purchase and subscription information, and limited information about the Application and device. This allows the Application to process purchases and determine access to dewdrop pro. The Application does not provide RevenueCat with your name or email address. Payments are handled by Apple. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.
• If you enable Home Alerts, the Service Provider and Amazon Web Services process device, alert, and scheduling identifiers needed to deliver notifications. Notification text remains on your device. See the AWS Privacy Notice.
• If you submit a support request, bug report, or feature suggestion, the information you provide is processed through Tally and used to respond to your submission or improve the Application. See Tally’s Privacy Notice.

These services may receive basic connection information, such as an IP address, when processing requests. The Service Provider does not use this information for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Does the Application collect precise real-time location information from the device?

If you grant location permission, the Application accesses your location when you request location-based weather information. You may instead select a location manually.

The selected location is stored on your device and sent to Apple to provide place information and weather forecasts. It is not sent to the Service Provider, Firebase, AWS, Tally, or RevenueCat. See Apple’s Weather & Privacy notice.

Do third parties see or have access to information obtained by the Application?

Information is processed by Apple, Google Firebase, RevenueCat, Amazon Web Services, and Tally only for the purposes described above. Service providers processing information on behalf of the Service Provider are required to protect it consistently with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

The Service Provider does not sell personal information or share it for advertising or cross-app tracking.

What are my opt-out rights?

You may revoke location, HomeKit, or notification access through iOS Settings. You may manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account.

Deleting an alert draft removes it from your device and requests removal of any associated scheduling information from the Service Provider’s systems. Using “Regenerate Device Secret” in the Application’s Settings retires the previous Home Alerts registration. Retired records are removed automatically.

Uninstalling the Application removes information stored by the Application from your device, subject to device backups. Information processed by Apple, Firebase, RevenueCat, Amazon Web Services, or Tally is retained according to their respective policies.

To request deletion of an active Home Alerts registration or information voluntarily provided to the Service Provider, contact info@dewlabs.io.

Children

The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit personal information from children or market the Application to them. If the Service Provider learns that personal information was provided by a child under 13, it will be deleted as required by applicable law.

Security

The Service Provider implements reasonable safeguards to protect its systems and the limited information they process. However, no security system is completely secure.

Data Breach Notification

If a breach occurs involving information processed by the Service Provider, the Service Provider will provide notification as required by applicable law.

Changes

The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date.

This Privacy Policy is effective as of 2026-09-12.
